📢Great Morning, Trojan Nation!! 🎉🏀Congratulations to our BCMS Basketball Teams after a busy week! Our Lady Trojans went 5-0, beating Clinch, Lanier, Echols, and going 2-0 in Columbus on Saturday. The Boys went 3-2 with victories over Lanier, Echols, and 1 in Columbus. Playoffs start this week for both teams. Stay tuned for updates throughout the week. 🎉👧🏀Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Basketball Team for its Season-Opening 54-36 win over Cook Saturday night. What a great start to what is sure to be an exciting season! 🎉🏈Congratulations to our Varsity Football Team for its 17-14 OT THRILLING VICTORY over Manchester, Friday!! It's hard to explain unless you were there, but WOW! Frigid, Hostile, Intense, Hard-Hitting, Emotional...just like you would expect a Semi-Final game to be in Georgia. Thank you to all who made the trip and braved the elements to will our Trojans to success. We would be remiss to not give kudos to the Empire of Sound, Dance Team, Auxiliary, and all of our staff who make Brooks County Friday nights so special. Thankfully, I can promise you the weather inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday, December 16th at 4:00 pm will be Sunny and 72!! ⚠We will meet with the GHSA tomorrow in Atlanta to receive more information about the State Championship Football Game, and will pass along everything you will need to have an awesome experience in Atlanta. 🏀🏹Come catch your favorite Trojan Team this week! In celebration of this monumental achievement and to ensure our students, staff, and community can cheer on our Trojans, Brooks County Schools will be closed on Monday, December 16. This will allow everyone to travel and support our football players, Empire of Sound marching band, and cheerleaders as they take the field for one final game this season. 📢Trojan Nation! 🎉Congratulations to our GameDay Cheer Squad for placing 2nd in Single A at their competition in Thomasville Saturday.  With their performance, they have qualified for the State Competition this Thursday in Columbus!! 🎉🏈Congratulations to our Varsity Football Team for its resounding 28-7 Quarter-Final victory over Jenkins County.  These men will take their talents to Manchester High School Friday night at 7:30 pm in a much-anticipated Semi-Final matchup.  As ticket information is released, we will pass it along. 🙏As this was definitely our final home game of the 2024 season, we want to take the time to all who came out to support our football team, cheerleaders, band, dance, and auxiliary team this season!  Y'all were there through thick and thin, and have played a HUGE role in everyone's successes this year.  Now, let's take this show on the road!! ⚠This week you will have awesome opportunities to support many programs.  🏀MS Basketball has home games Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.  🎮In a "first-time-ever" event, Lane Weaver will represent our ESports team in the Quarter-Final round playing Madden against MLK High School.  📢GameDay Cheer has their final competition Thursday in Columbus.  Of course, football plays Friday night.  🏀Finally, our Varsity Basketball Teams will officially open their seasons Saturday at home vs Cook.   🎟⚠ALL BCS EMPLOYEES still receive free admission to all home events with their ID.  Please make it a point to come support your students. 🙏Thank you for all you do! #UN1TY🔗 #GoTrojans🔴🔵
