Meet the man behind the badge 👮Officer Carl Dudley. 👮🔥 He is the newest addition to our wonderful team. His previous employments and experiences are sure to be a huge asset. Officer Dudley’s goal for his first year is to maintain a secure and safe environment for all faculty, staff, and students while encouraging an atmosphere that promotes learning and positivity. 💪🏠 We are so excited to welcome him to our Trojan Family!

Today, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our brand-new wing of classrooms! 🏫✨ This state-of-the-art addition includes 6 classrooms and a collaborative planning area for our dedicated teachers. Principal Reggie Lee, joined by BCSD Board of Education President Larry Cunningham, Board of Education Member Jessica Goodman, Director of Facilities Jack Pridgen, Assistant Principal Ashlee Gruno and Dr. Vickie Reed, Superintendent of Brooks County School District, officially opened the new wing. Staff from North Brooks Elementary School and the J.H. Wells Center looked on, celebrating this exciting milestone together. We're grateful for the presence and support of special guests Donnie Warren and Wesley Langdale of the Harley Langdale, Jr. Foundation. 🙌🎓 Together, we're fulfilling our vision: "Pledge to Inspire and Educate Every Student." 🌟📖

After recent redeterminations for Medicaid that ended in May, many students may have lost healthcare coverage, leaving them without necessary medications and treatment. PeachCare for Kids is a medical assistance program that provides health care coverage for children in low-income families in Georgia. PeachCare and Medicaid currently provide over 1.9 million children with healthcare benefits that include primary, preventative, behavioral health, specialist, dental, and vision care and, for little to no cost, can help students and families who might find themselves without coverage.
