Our BCMS Lady Trojans went 3-0 last week, not dropping a set in any of their victories over Baker Co, Mitchell Co, and Cook. Our HS Ladies ran their Area record to 6-0 beating Baker Co & Stewart Co. Keep up the great work!! 🎉🥎Congratulations to our BCMS Softball Team for its 17-3 statement win over Scintilla. That victory gives them a chance to possibly see the playoffs at the end of the week. We will keep you updated. ⚠🧥Letter Jacket Fittings will be held this Thursday at BCHS during lunch. Cost will be $150 with a $50 deposit due at the time of the order. Brooks County Schools has been made aware of rumors circulating among students regarding potential threats made on an Instagram posting. This posting has been circulating across the nation. We want to assure you that these claims have been thoroughly investigated. We have been able to determine that this threat has been deemed non-credible. As a precaution and in collaboration and partnership with Brooks County Sheriff's Office, we will have increased law enforcement presence at all Brooks County Schools tomorrow. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Brooks County Schools has been made aware of a list of schools being circulated around the state on social media. The list is from the Georgia Department of Education and is a list of Title 1 funded schools. The list denotes whether the school is a Title I Schoolwide School or a Title I Targeted Curriculum Assistance School NOT a terroristic threat list. Any information related to school threats should be immediately reported to law enforcement and the school system.
