
QES field day will be held on May 24th. We will be selling T-shirts, see image, starting at $13. Each grade level will have it's own color shirt. This will be a wonderful day filled with fun activities before the year ends.

All schools and offices in the Brooks County School District will be closed April 4 through April 8 for Spring Break. We will reopen on Monday - April 11.


Due to the expected continuation of inclement weather expected during after school hours, ECHOES will be cancelled TODAY (WEDNESDAY - MARCH 23. ECHOES students will ride their normal buses home.

Friday February 25th will be the day our students present their Black History program. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate family and friends in the gym. We will be broadcasting live online and people may watch that way.

Brooks County Schools will dismiss school early on Friday, December 17th due to the parade celebration for our BCS Trojans and their win as state champions. Quitman Elementary will begin dismissing car riders at 1:45 p.m. Please note that all car riders should be picked up by 2:15 p.m. Busses will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. No early check outs will be allowed after 1:15 p.m. Please plan accordingly.

QES Cookie Dough Fundraiser pick up is tomorrow (10/6) from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Small orders will be sent home with the students. Large orders will need to be picked up.
