TOME Reading Group
About
The TOME Society is for students to engage in reading specific books and then participate in competitions. At QES this is open to fourth and fifth graders.
There are ten titles to be read over the year. Two will be read first, and the competition for them will be held Near the end of September. More information to follow.
Students will meet regularly to discuss their reading and upcoming competitions.
Last year, we did not do competitions, but I was pleased to award six students with certifiactes for 20 hours of volunteer service. This and other events are part of the TOME society reading club.
