Starting fresh in a new district is no easy task, but based on the comments from her school’s leaders, Ms. Vasquez is off to an impressive start! “Ms. Vasquez has been a joy to our students. She has revitalized our Art program and has been a leader in getting students to think with their creative minds. She teaches our students great entrepreneurial skills by allowing them to participate in our school-wide fundraiser. Great Morning Trojan Nation! Congratulations to our BCMS Lady Trojan Basketball Team for its season opening victories over Valdosta and Mitchell County Saturday. The games were our only competition last week at BCS. We are hoping to get back to normal this week, but I can promise you we are far from it. As you can see on our weekly schedule, we feel like we know WHO we are playing, but are still up in the air about WHERE we may be playing, based on opponents' facility playability. Games could be at our place, their place, or neutral sites. Luckily, any game where we are the home team, we WILL BE HOSTING, as our facilities came through the storm with little damage. There have been questions about our Varsity Football Schedule after GHSA pushed the playoffs back a week, so I have attached that as well...of course with it being subject to change. This includes Tuesday's Softball game, Thursday's MS Football Game, and Friday's HS Football Game. As we learn more about each competition, we will be sure to pass along information. BCHS Softball will be completing its season this week, and will honor the seniors in between games tonight during the DH vs Turner Co. Game 1 starts at 4:30. BCHS Volleyball will celebrate Senior Night Thursday, and will also be hosting a least 1 round of playoffs beginning next week!
