STAR Student and Teacher

Brooks County High School senior Arianna Reddick has been named the school’s 2025 Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Student, an honor awarded to the highest-achieving high school seniors across Georgia.

The STAR program, sponsored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation, recognizes students who attain the highest SAT score at their respective schools on a single test date through November of their senior year while also ranking in the top 10 percent or among the top 10 students of their class based on grade point average.

As part of the STAR program, recipients select a teacher who has played a pivotal role in their academic success. Reddick chose Mrs. Laura Walton as her STAR Teacher, recognizing her dedication, mentorship, and commitment to student excellence.

Reddick and Walton will now represent Brooks County High School as they advance to the regional level of the STAR program, where they will compete against other outstanding students and educators from surrounding districts.

The Brooks County community congratulates Arianna Reddick and Mrs. Walton on this prestigious achievement and wishes them the best of luck as they continue in the competition.
