The first ABAC (Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) Foundation Board Meeting of the 2024-2025 school year took place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Brooks County School’s District’s Performing Arts Center. ABAC and Brooks County Schools co-hosted a community luncheon, bringing together ABSC Foundation Board of Trustees, ABAC administration, Brooks County Schools administration, ABAC alumni, area agricultural teachers, and community leaders. Special guests included Georgia School Superintendent Richard Woods, Senator Sam Watson, State Representative John LaHood, Brooks County Board of Education Chair Larry Cunningham, Vice Chairman Kasey Knight and Board of Education member Jessica Goodman. After the luncheon, attendees gathered for an ice cream social at the newly constructed Harley Langdale Jr. Agricultural Barn at Brooks County High School. Brooks County School District and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College look forward to a continued partnership in the years ahead.
