The Brooks County School District’s Early Learning Center proudly celebrates Jonae Manning, a standout PreK student, for winning the district's Destination Ag Art & Writing contest. Competing against a multitude of talented young artists and writers from PreK and 1st grade, Jonae's creativity and hard work distinguished her among the best.
Destination Ag organized the contest to inspire creativity and an appreciation for the agricultural industry. The contest provided a platform for students to express their understanding and appreciation of agriculture through art and writing.
Jonae Manning's winning entry earned her a $100 gift card, a reward for her exceptional effort and creativity. Her accomplishment also brings pride and recognition to her teacher, Shaneka Reynolds, who will receive a $500 check in acknowledgment of her dedicated guidance and support.
The Early Learning Center's principal, Derrick Jenkins, expressed immense pride in Jonae's achievement, stating, "Jonae's success is a testament to her creativity and hard work, as well as the dedication of our educators like Ms. Reynolds. We are thrilled to see our students excel and gain recognition for their talents."
Jonae and her teacher, Ms. Reynolds were celebrated for this significant achievement at the May Board of Education meeting.
This victory not only highlights the individual talents of the students at the Early Learning Center but also underscores the importance of arts and education programs in early childhood development. The Early Learning Center’'s emphasis on fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment continues to yield remarkable outcomes.
