Please contact the school if you would like to be nominated for the school council. We will hold a vote during our next meeting (TBA).
NBES: We can't wait to see our students and families at tomorrow's Open House! We will host Open House from 3:00-5:00. Our school nurse will be available to speak with anyone who needs to pick up forms or drop off medications. Also, our school store will be open, and we accept cash and card. See you soon!
NBES: Our Summer Social is today from 6:00-7:00 at Lawson's Peach Shed in Morven. There will be hot dogs for our NBES families, and peach ice cream for our NBES students. Hope to see you there!

NBES: Georgia Milestones Assessments will begin next week (May 10th-May 13th) for students in 3rd-5th grade. ELA sections will be on Tuesday and Wednesday (3rd-5th), Math will be on Thursday (3rd-5th), and Science will be on Friday (5th grade only). Please make sure all students are present, on time, and well-rested for each day for testing. Thank you!
NBES: Brooks County Middle School will host a parent night for all current 5th graders on May 17th, from 6pm-7pm, in the BCMS cafeteria. Parents and guardians of rising 6th graders for the 2022-2023 are encouraged to attend.

NBES: We are excited to hold our first Saturday Session tomorrow, 4/16/22, from 9:00am-12:00pm. This will be for our 3rd-5th graders who made a reservation. Drop off and pick up will be at the front of the school (car rider line). See you then!

We will invite our Georgia Milestones high achievers and our PBIS 2RC Champions to a NBES Movie Matinee. We will travel to Valdosta Cinemas May 24th to celebrate these students' accomplishments. Invitations and permission slips will be sent out accordingly.
We hope you had a relaxing Spring Break! Brooks County Schools will reopen tomorrow.
All schools and offices in the Brooks County School District will be closed April 4 through April 8 for Spring Break. We will reopen on Monday - April 11.
NBES Field Day 2022 is tomorrow! We will have games from 9:00-11:30. Please wear athletic shoes, t-shirt, and shorts, apply sunblock before your leave home, and bring a change of clothes due to field conditions. You can wear hats tomorrow, and there will be a water station so water bottles are not necessary. And remember your money for the Snack Shack! We are looking forward to an EPIC Field Day Adventure!
Save the Date: NBES will host 3 Saturday Sessions on 4/16, 4/23, and 4/31 for grades 3rd-5th in preparation for the Georgia Milestones Assessment. The sessions will run from 9:00-12:00 and focus on ELA and Math. Sign-up flyers will go home with students when we return from Spring Break. Thank you!

Due to the expected continuation of inclement weather expected during after school hours, ECHOES will be cancelled TODAY (WEDNESDAY - MARCH 23. ECHOES students will ride their normal buses home.
