Clemons is active in the community and is currently serving as Vice-President of Brooks County Family Connection. The Brooks County Board of Education committed to fully equipping the officers and department. All District schools have a trained officer assigned to them. The officers serve on a five-day week, eight-hour day schedule and after-school events. These officers will support district-level services in the areas of planning and implementation of programs designed to effectively address security and school safety. Officers Stephen Ross, Simmie Jackson, Curtis Jones, and Randy Smith will be serving with Chief Clemons. “We have a great team of officers that are here to support our schools and our children. We look forward to working with the staff and families of Brooks County Schools.” stated Chief Clemons. The Brooks County School System is excited to have the officers as part of the education family and believe their presence will help create a safe and supportive learning environment for the students of Brooks County.
