On Thursday, February 17th, 2022, BCMS will be performing Scoliosis Screenings on all 6th and 8th grade students. An OPT OUT form was sent home with your students last week. If you do NOT want your student to participate in the Scoliosis Screening, please make sure to return the above mentioned form to the school. There are extra forms in the front office. Thank you!
Picture retakes/make-ups at BCMS will be Wednesday, January 19th.
Help us congratulate our December Student of the Month, Miss Aliyah Wilson. Aliyah is a current 6th grade student at BCMS who shows all students how to Level Up and Bring the Hammer through her dedication, hard work and positive personality. She can always be counted on for a sweet smile, and her personality helps light up the 6th grade hallway. We are proud of you Aliyah-keep up the wonderful work!

Help us celebrate and cheer on our University of Georgia Dawgs by wearing ALL of the red and black things tomorrow!!!
Tomorrow, Friday, January 7th, 2022, all middle schools students will be administered the GA STUDENT HEALTH SURVEY. Revised in FY22, the Georgia Student Health Survey is an anonymous and statewide survey instrument that covers various topics such as school climate and safety, peer and adult social support, bullying, mental health, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation. Tomorrow is the Holiday Outfit Contest for the 12 Days of Christmas. Wear your best holiday outfit and maybe win a little treat for the best outfit!
Just a reminder: Students will be allowed to watch a Holiday Movie the tomorrow afternoon in the gym. Admittance to the movie is $2 and snacks will be $1. Students can attend as long as they do not have any work to make-up or have not received any referrals this week.
Tomorrow is Ugly Christmas Sweater Day for the 12 Days of Christmas. Wear the ugliest Christmas Sweater you have!

All interested soccer players must sign up at lunch on Tuesday, 12/14, to attend the Soccer Interest Meeting being held in the BCMS Media Center on Wednesday, 12/15 at 8:00am.
