We are excited about tonight's graduation ceremony. As you prepare to celebrate with our graduates, remember the following: the doors will open at 4:45 p.m., the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m., and the doors will be closed. Tickets are required for entry for every person taking a seat.

What an incredible Honors Night we had at Brooks County High School last week! It was a joyous occasion as we came together to honor the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our outstanding students. Our Valedictorian, Camryn Holmes and Salutatorian, Denton McLeod emceed the evening.
We also had the privilege of celebrating our remarkable 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, Darious Dennard. We would like to thank him for his dedication each and every day. Coach Dennard is always willing to go above and beyond to support his students and our staff.
Last but certainly not least, a heartfelt thank you to our Volunteer of the Year, Dr. Diane Thomas! Her selfless contributions and generous spirit have enriched our school community this year. Her dedication to supporting our students and staff does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and continues to do as one of our Brooks County Board Members.

BCHS wants to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to our donors. Your generosity during Teacher Appreciation Week doesn't just impact one individual; it creates a ripple effect that reaches every student touched by their teaching. Thank you!

Brooks County Schools will remain closed tomorrow - Friday - April 12, 2024.
Due to the volume of rain our area has received, there are numerous road closures throughout the county that include major routes as well as dirt roads and city surface roads. In conversations with local EMA and the county road department, they are still discovering roads that are impassible with some being completely washed out.
We will continue to receive flood waters from northern regions via multiple tributaries.
These factors not only create a serious potential hazard for our buses and the students that ride them, but for our staff attempting to safely navigate these roads in order to get to work.

Good morning Trojans,
If you have a student enrolled at BCHS and your student receives special education services, please complete the Georgia DOE survey below. Thank you!

Due to the conditions of the roads, Brooks County Schools will be closed today.
