Good evening, Brooks County High School parents! This is a reminder that tomorrow, all 10th graders will take the PSAT, and seniors who registered will take the SAT. Testing begins promptly at 8:00 am, so please ensure your student gets a good night’s sleep, has a nutritious breakfast, and arrives at school before 7:45 am. 📢 Important Announcement: Return to School After Hurricane Helene We hope this message finds all of our Brooks County families safe and recovering well after Hurricane Helene. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the storm. ❤️🤍💙 🏫Brooks County Schools will resume normal operations on Monday - October 7. If any students are unable to attend due to power outages or impassable roads, parents may contact their child's school on Monday morning. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and continuing our journey together. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure a smooth transition back to school. Dear Trojan Family, As we recover from this unprecedented event, know our hearts are with you and your families. At last report, there was no accurate estimation for restoration of power in the near future. Many of our roads continue to remain unsafe and impassable, especially for school buses. Our Emergency Management Team remains in constant contact with Brooks County EMA and other public safety entities. Resources are spread thin not only in Brooks County, but the entire region. With that, we have made the decision that we will not be returning to school for the week of September 30 through October 4. Now is the time for recovery and healing. Brooks County Schools remains committed to the safety of our staff, students, and community. We will keep you posted on any new developments.
